European Walnut Kitchen Worktop Appearance:

100% solid European Walnut "A" grade is used to make this kitchen worktop. The staves used to make up the walnut worktop are 40mm thick and ranging from 38 - 42mm wide depending on supplier. All our kitchen worktops are in the white (unfinished) and square edged to allow the customer / fitter to apply their own desired profile. They are sanded to a fine 150grit and ready to be oiled or finished with the product of your choice. The kitchen worktops are all individually shrink wrapped.

Walnut is a natural product and vulnerable to movement caused by moisture levels in the air, the individual shrink wrap helps to minimise the risk of a hardwood worktop bending before it is sealed with your chosen finish.

The blocks of random length 40mm thick solid European Walnut are finger jointed together length ways and edge glued together across the worktop.

This sample block has been oiled on one side with "Danish Oil". Here you can clearly see how the finishing brings out the natural beauty. The A face of our top quality Walnut kitchen worktops do not have defects. All our European Walnut Kitchen Worktops are in the white (un-finished), sanded to 150grit and ready to be oiled or finished with the product of your choice.

All kitchen worktops are individually shrink wrapped to protect against moisture and reduce the chance of the worktop cupping before it is sealed with the finish of your choice.. For transport the kitchen worktops are individually wrapped in bubble wrap and protected with U foam or wrapped in two layers of corrugated cardboard with corner protection. We hold large stocks of kitchen worktops, so whether its a single replacement worktop, an entire showroom or stocks for re-sale we can meet your needs.
